 Program Report.

Dar Al Hikma Central Library of Aiwa College, Mongam, organized an enlightening orientation program titled Unlocking the Power of Learning: SWAYAM Orientation 2025 on January 7, 2025, at the Seminar Hall. The event aimed to introduce students and faculty members to the vast learning opportunities available through SWAYAM, the Government of India’s online education platform.The program was inaugurated by Professor K. P. Sahad, the Vice Principal of the college, who spoke about the significance of digital platforms like SWAYAM in bridging the educational divide and empowering learners across the nation.The core session of the program was conducted by Mrs. Sareena, the college librarian. Her engaging presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the SWAYAM platform, including how to register, choose courses, and utilize its resources effectively for academic and professional growth.The event also featured a felicitation address by Prof. Muneera P. K., who highlighted the importance of lifelong learning in today’s fast-paced, knowledge-driven world and encouraged students to embrace such opportunities.The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Kumari Famida Fathima, who expressed her gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event a success.





 

Readers Forum Program Report.

The Readers Forum of Aiwa College organized a special program on January 4, 2025, to celebrate World Braille Day. The event, titled Louis Braille: A Guide for the Visually Impaired, was a tribute to Louis Braille’s revolutionary contribution to the visually impaired community. The program commenced with an inauguration by Dr. Abdunnassar, the esteemed Head of the Arabic Department.The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Shahul Hameed, whose warm words set the tone for the event and inspired the audience to reflect on the importance of Braille in bridging gaps in education and communication.The highlight of the program was the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Hamza Jaisal, whose engaging keynote speech captivated the audience. He emphasized the significance of recognizing and supporting the needs of visually impaired individuals in today’s society.The felicitation address was delivered by Dr. Muhammed Sherif.The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mrs. Sareena, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and participants for their support and active involvement.
